Sectoids with this are a legitimate threat, and use mindspin, dominate and shoot off their blasters way more. Smarter Sectoids (Remember when Sectoids were just enemies who'd raise a zombie and be gunned down in quick succession? Not anymore. This both avoids unintentional specialist spam, allows you to really us the specialists as support, and gives you a class that can focus on straight up combat.

This resulted in one campaign of mostly Arabs and Persians, and one of mostly Russians and Asians, but those were area appropriate) BleedOutMod (Minor increase in likliehood of a bleedout as opposed to outright death) Stop Wasting My Time: Takes out the odd little pauses True Retroative AWC (makes the AWC allow for real retraining) Upgrade Reminder (reminds use that they have attachments unused) The following is a list of those mods, description of what they do, and short summary of the change in gameplay. I collected and downloaded a whole ton of mods to make XCOM 2 play a lot more like Long War, and I'm happy to say I think I may have succeeded, at least a bit.

While this collection of mods isn't Long War for XCOM 2 just yet, it's the next best thing in my book. Hey All!
